Set in what has to be some of England's finest countryside, The Team benefice covers the villages of Burston - Fradswell - Gayton - Hixon - Hopton - Milwich - Salt - Sandon - Stowe by Chartley - Weston. The Benefice lies in Staffordshire, and the edges of the Parish boundaries lie in the county town of Stafford itself.
We are part of the Diocese of Lichfield, within the Church of England. Currently, Sunday services are held weekly at Hixon, Milwich, Sandon, Stowe, and Weston, fortnightly at Fradswell, Gayton, Hopton and Salt, and once a month at Burston.
In late 2004 the Team Council embarked on a project to produce a Parish Magazine for all 10 churches called "COMPASS". Magazines are widely available at each of the churches, with up to date information on Church and local groups and activities. They are also distributed to virtually every house in the Team Area.
On a fifth Sunday all the congregations unite for a 10.00.am Communion service at one of the Team Churches in rotation - see Sunday Services for details.
